Description:

The KMA 80 R is part of the AK Homeowner Battery System™. It is made with the same durable components as the gas-powered KM 56 RC-E® and works with 14 optional attachments that are interchangeable between both STIHL KombiMotors®. Featuring a brushless motor for a virtually maintenance-free experience and high RPMs for powerful performance, the KMA 80 R is built for efficiency.

Features:

Powerful Homeowner KombiMotor – With a max speed of 7,000 rpm, the KMA 80 R has the power to take on any yard chore.
Built for Versatility – Perform a wide range of yard maintenance tasks with one powerhead.
Compatible with STIHL KombiSystem® Attachments – This product is compatible with the existing STIHL KombiSystem® attachments for versatility and adaptability.*
Adjustable Front Handle – The front handle is easily adjustable (360-degree rotation) for comfort.
Loop Handle® – The Loop Handle® is an adjustable rounded handle mounted on a shaft for support and control. The handle is designed to help control the machine in different positions, ideal for reaching tough spots. The handle is large enough to accommodate a gloved hand comfortably.
Quick-Release Coupling – The quick-release coupling system makes it easy to switch between STIHL KombiSystem® attachments. In addition, this feature allows STIHL KombiSystem® equipment to be dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage and then re-assembled quickly without tools.
Efficient and Virtually Maintenance-Free Motor – The brushless motor is ideal for noise-sensitive environments with virtually zero maintenance required.
Multi-Function Control Handle™ – Having easy access to all of the controls on one comfortable handle helps make it easier to complete tasks so the operator’s hand never has to leave the handle.
Variable-Speed Trigger – The variable-speed trigger allows precise control for each task.
Retaining Latch – All STIHL® battery-powered products feature a retaining latch that is designed to prevent the unit from unintentional starts when the battery is inserted.
Throttle Trigger Interlock – This safety feature must be depressed before the trigger can be activated.
Reduced-Emission Engine Technology—Caring for Nature – The STIHL Inc. “Caring for Nature” seal identifies its powered products that are more environmentally conscious, producing zero or low exhaust emissions. STIHL Inc. defines “low exhaust emissions” as being cleaner than EPA and/or CARB exhaust emission standards.
Made in America – A majority of STIHL® products sold in America are made in America of U.S. and global materials.
